Hi! I’m Becky.
I’ve been exactly where you are.
Reinvention isn’t something to fear—it’s a reflection of growth, clarity, and the courage to evolve. Throughout my life, I’ve intentionally shaped new chapters and made bold transitions.
With a degree in political science and global health, I built a career in international development in Washington, D.C., managing programs across Haiti, Palestine, and East Africa. I then shifted into growing social enterprises in Nairobi, Kenya, focusing on business development and partnerships. From there, I transitioned again—this time into tech startups in Seattle, working in partnerships and product marketing. Most recently, I stepped into entrepreneurship, becoming a life coach while surfing my way around the world.
Each of these transitions taught me that the real breakthroughs don’t come from pushing harder—and believe me, I tried. As a high achiever in competitive spaces, I believed hard work would always lead to the next level. But mid-career, I realized that relentless effort couldn’t outrun things like global pandemics, market shifts, corporate politics, or governmental changes.
Resilience and growth mindset helped—but they couldn’t solve a deeper misalignment between what I was doing and who I was becoming. Eventually, the resistance—and later, full burnout—became the signal.
That’s when I realized:
Finding what’s next isn’t about striving to meet someone else’s idea of success. It’s about creating space to hear your own voice—and then choosing to follow it.
That shift changed everything.
I know from experience that big transitions touch every part of your life: your energy, your relationships, your sense of self.
After my first two major shifts, I took six months off between roles to reset. My most recent break was even more intentional: six months of deep rest—12-hour sleeps, time in nature, meditation, yoga, journaling, surfing, and reconnection with loved ones.
That was followed by 12 months of exploration and creation. I trained as a life and mindfulness coach, built a remote coaching business, surfed across Central America, Europe, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Mexico, and deepened my relationships with the people and places that nourish my spirit.
This wasn’t a detour. It was—and still is—a deliberate process of choosing and weaving together the life I actually want to live. Those 18 months realigned me with what matters most—and now, I help others navigate their own transformations.
I coach because helping people reconnect with their uniqueness, energy, and joy is the most fulfilling work I know.
The Unrushed Path was born from everything I learned along the way.
It’s a space to slow down, reconnect with who you are now, and build your next chapter from a place of deep alignment.
If you're in the fog of “what’s next?” after a big career, life, or identity shift, I’d love to help you find clarity—not by rushing, but by listening deeply to what’s calling you.
